In creating "Mason," I wanted to explore the quiet tension between isolation and connection. The lamppost stands as a singular figure in the rain, a beacon of faint light, almost lost within the dark forest. To me, it represents an anchor — a symbol of being tied to something larger, perhaps society or an unseen force, even when you feel completely alone. The ongoing storm serves to show the unexpected strength and durability of such connections.
The rain adds a layer of isolation, drowning everything in a muted rhythm, while the light itself, soft and barely illuminating the surroundings, feels like a fragile connection to something beyond the immediate scene.
